Most travel content about Japan skims the surface: "visit Fushimi Inari at sunrise" appears on every list. We go deeper. Our guides explain the seasonal calendar that shapes Japanese life — from hanami in spring through the humid reality of a Kyoto summer, the fiery momiji of autumn, and the snow festivals of Hokkaido in February.
